Jake Olson
Jake Olson is a student at USC, a long snapper for the USC Trojans, an author and a motivational speaker. He was born with retinoblastoma, a cancer of the retina. He lost his left eye when he was 10 months old and, despite numerous procedures on his other eye, he had his right eye removed when he was 12 in 2009. Olson was blessed to be able to attend a private high school in Southern California that had resources to help special needs students. He advocates for school choice on behalf of other special needs students whose families don’t have the financial resources to afford private schools.
